For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with food. As a child, I would be frustrated when adults would serve me dinosaur chicken nuggets with carrot sticks, while they’d enjoy beef bourguignon. My family took notice of my interest in not only eating awesome food, but creating it for myself at a young age, and encouraged these passions with frequent trips to exotic food markets so I could find the right tamarind paste for my pad Thai. I was that extra.
But as I’ve grown up, I have cultivated years of amateur experience tasting and trying any new foods I could get my hands on. Through my many long nights at my parents’ dinner table laughing with my siblings, countless dinners at restaurants around the world, and making memories in my own kitchen, I’ve found that cooking for any eating with friends and family is my way of showing love.
While I am not gluten-free, paleo, vegan or vegetarian, I believe wholeheartedly in balance and treating my body right. This page will explore recipes and dishes that use real ingredients that taste really damn good. It’s that simple.
